Preben Sørensen has 17 years of experience with management and consulting in Danish and international retail.
Preben is trained in Lean Six Sigma at LSV Group, and has combined this knowledge with practical experience in optimization, process management and project management. Preben has run a Lean Six Sigma project on food waste on fruits and vegetables in Netto, which generated 16 million DKK in annual savings. In addition to to that he was contributing to a significantly more sustainable operation.
Preben has an analytical, structured and methodological approach that ensures mutual value creation of high quality and professionalism that meets customer needs and increases the company’s competitiveness. His broad experience ensures that he can work across the entire value chain and communicate at all levels.
Preben has achieved many great results during his career and has been at the forefront of major changes, such as development and implementation of essential parts of Netto’s Concept 3.0, implementation of SAP in the procurement department, as well as development and implementation of a tool for planning and purchasing more than DKK 1 billion in sales.
Preben always base his work on the customer’s needs and the process. He works across departments and classic organizational boundaries. The process must allways have a clear vision of what value it delivers to the customer.
